Technically/mechanically I'd say 5 is definitely a superior game. Though the story, setting and characters were all a bit 'meh' IMO. Also the first 3D GTA game where I didn't really pay attention to any of the radio stations (not helped by the false rumours of a Synthwave radio station hosted by Kavinsky that were spread as some self-promotion!).
No idea on the bluetooth side of things, I'd say make sure your bluetooth drivers are up to date and if that doesn't sort it maybe pick up a cheap bluetooth USB adapter to diagnose whether or not it's the PC's bluetooth device that is the issue.
