On the sausages chat. I'm not sure if these are available in the UK or not but they are by far the best vegan sausages I've had

Ordered. They donate a meal to magic breakfast too which is a great charity providing food to school kids in need.

Are you in NI/IRL?
These are the exact same as the Richmond ones.
Available as Denny in NI, Richmond in England.
So far I have located them in the fridge section in Sainsbury's and the freezer in Tesco. -

Yup I'm in Ireland. Tesco generally have them here in the fridge

If Pat Jennings isn't advertising them, I'm not interested.

Something I just found that I hadn't seen before:

Has anyone tried the vegan jerky from companies like Primal Spirit? It all seems crazy expensive online. I'm trying to find an evening "savoury snack" that is more interesting than nuts, crisps, crackers, cheese etc etc.

There's a vegan jerky in Asda that is awesome. Still pretty expensive, especially given how moreish it is, but I bought it a lot when I worked near an asda and going to shops was a thing

Yeah, it's not bad! I don't know if you live anywhere near a Chinese supermarket but they're pretty good for interesting/weird snacks. Lots of soy based meaty things.

Nice one thanks. I'll see what I can get online first - there is a huge Chinese supermarket on my way into Glasgow. I'll get there eventually but not for a few months give the state of things right now. Thanks.

Primal stuff is AMAZING but expensive as you say. Aldi sometimes stocks King's brand of vegan jerky and Holland and Barrett have it too.
I've had some ace soy snacks from Chinese supermarkets too though and they're normally cheapest.

Aldi near me has their own branded version of the soy jerky right now. I'm guessing for veganuary. Same stuff as King's, I think.
Chinese stuff is the best, though. I'm sure you can get it online if you can't make it to a Chinese grocer.

+1 for the stuff in Chinese supermarkets, sometimes a bit hard to tell if it's vegan but the ones I've had have all been nice and spicy and cheap.

Hey Oliver
Thanks!
A vegan pizza ride is due soon!!
Tried a carton of Oggs aquafaba (came in a subscription box I get) and Elmlea plant double cream today. Made a passionfruit eton mess. The cream is pretty neutral tasting so will take flavouring well, it also whips pretty good.
