What do you reckon the likelihood of them fitting some 38mm 650b tyres are? I'm looking for some guards for my partners replacement Isen and as she's small it's 650b wheels or nothing on it. We used some 650b GB guards on her last frame but are keen to explore cheaper alternatives.

I found mine a fair bit of work to fit 650b, got there in the end though.
I'm probably going to get another set and am thinking of trying the reradiusing discussed upthread -

I'd say questionable... They'd be too wide for my 700c Isen and need some shaping to clear the seat stays. If the stays from your old GB guards are still good the replacement guards themselves are more affordable.

I've been happy with the wide SKS Edge AL guards. Not as nice as PDW but pretty close at a fraction of the price. The stay mounting looks a bit cheap, but works great even on gravel.
