  • She drops “only love can break your heart” quite regularly which is a code for kids are away home in 30 mins i think.

  • 😂

Imagine if a DJ had an affair and used an artist as code for "partner out, cone over" and a switch to a pre-record.

    Perfect cover story.

  • Don Letts right now too, nice.

  • Bukem mix on MAH right now

  • A new affectation for Mary Anne Hobgoblin.

    Reference, listeners who've contacted her.

    Her reply. 'I see you'

    I know, hate thread.

  • Reference, listeners who've contacted her.
    Her reply. 'I see you'

Not just me that's noticed that then

  • Ha, yes. I think she's trolling like Radcliffe & Marconi. She does play some great tunes though.

Check the news, keep it locked, I see you.

Here's a MAH thread from a few years back on Singletrackworld... unexpected twist at the end.

  • 'I see you'

    Hold tight...

  • This stuff they're spouting about mental health is driving me nuts.

  • they'll be soliciting information from members of the pubic next. IDGAF what Karen is up to in her kitchen today.

  • So if i ring up and say hi to lfgss 🤘

  • Protesting by sounds of it.

Maybe not entirely. Keaveney in full flow.

  • GP interview with K&D right now.

  • Liz Kershaws "isn't the weather a bit shit" show at lunch was a bit 2020.

  • She was so proud of herself for playing November Rain.

  • Bringing this back to update my list of enemies and crushes.

I have begrudgingly fallen for MAH. Loving LaLa in the mornings and Keaveny's appeal still evades.

Also I met an ex BBC6 producer back in the summer and he went on at some length about WAC Lamaq is. Apparently he lives on crisps and bitter and never cleans his teeth, is universally despised, acts like a total diva and treats his team like shit.

  • I remember being in Camden with JimBob from Carter, must have been mid '90's. We drank bitter and shared a packet of crisps.

So today we are asking our listeners for any crisp related stories. Perhaps you once spent your crisp money on a 7" single. Or offered the drummer from Elastica a crisp once. Get in touch.

    But now, something from Razorlight.

  • Justin wasn't really a crisps man. Loved chips though.

  • Would still listen to him all day if the alternative was Gemma Cairney

  • I'm finding MAH less and less bearable. I don't actually mind Lamacq's music (which may date me) but I can't cope with the inane chat.

  • Actually made me lol this, thanks.

  • I'm sure MAH is a lovely person and all but her show just seems the wrong vibe for having on in the background at work on a weekday morning. It's more chill-out room at a party where everyone's on the same drugs as her.

  • I never really “got” her show or her personality over the radio. I think it was because I was at work. Whenever I listen to her now it’s normally at home or on a walk and she instantly feels better to listen to.

I love listening to nemone when she does all the deep breathing stuff.

    Also Techno Tuesdays!!!
