There is a fair difference if you ride 40-ish tires in something that is looks like a road bike Vs a XC bike with 2.25 and 700 wide bars.

To add to GRX moaning, the cranks looks shit, even by Shimano standards, heavy and not even direct mount options.

imo there is no speed difference between a XC hard tail and a proper gravel bike. The difference is in asthetics. Plus the xc bike will likely be faster off road...

Pace RC529, fairly l/l/s 29er currently with Maxxis Minion SS tyres.

I thought if they were fitting it with boost it would have good clearance but it just has 47mm? Wasted opportunity.
