Mine look equally bad. Shimano really dropped the ball on the finish for GRX levers
It also looks like your hoods don't fit the levers properly, exactly the same as mine.

It's a weird matte finish, whereas most of the other levers I've had are shiny shiny shiny. So presumably the stuff acts as inverse sandpaper. How may pairs of gloves have you gone through? :)

Re GRX discussion a few pages back, I don't think it's normal my 810 levers are showing this level of wear after 1100km over 3 months since new, amirite?
I've used the same gloves in the same mud as last winter with R7000 levers on my other bike, which are still spotless.
Should I email Shimano or the store where I bought them from?
