In hindsight maybe...
I decided that a USB light would be sufficient, and give me less grief with wiring. There isn't a huge amount of room under the mudguard and the only way of attaching wires would have been Gorilla tape, which didn't seem like a permanent enough solution.
One day they will invent wireless dynamo lights!
Next on the agenda is the pannier rack - I'm using a Tubus Fly that attaches with a single strut, hence the threaded thing on top of the rear brake bridge. Winston is making a custom stainless strut as the stock alloy one probably wouldn't bend enough to clear the rear brake.
Should be picking it up this afternoon : )
I also still need to figure out where to attach the rear light. I was going to get a rack mount but, since I'm keeping the Galaxy, this bike won't need a rack most of the time.
I'm currently thinking about trying to attach it to the rear mudguard...
It's a Bontrager Flare. Mudguards mounts are available for it but they're not particularly elegant and I'm reluctant to drill more holes until I'm sure I've found the right solution!
