Speedplay Zero Cleats / Spares

Posted on
  • Having a bit of a clearout, had all these spares around for ages and thought someone might want them.

There’s enough bits to make up two sets of cleats, some are more worn than others. Some shims and keep on covers also.

  • Dibs, PM'ing now

  • Quick question what do yo think off speedplay.. You seem to have a lot off spare parts do they wear out a lot.?
I've been on shimano for the pass 6 years. And only replace the cleats once every 2 years.
Always willing to try different brands.

  • The big thing about Speedplays (and also much older 'Time' cleats and pedals) is the sheer amount of float, which is great for dodgy knees. Also being double sided means much easier entry what setting off from traffic lights, etc.

With Speedplay the pedals are cheap (relatively) but the cleats are expensive but last a long time and offer a lot of adjustability.

Personally, I'd struggle to go back to SPD-SL or Look cleats.

  • Thanks for the information.

  • Cleats now sold.
