That's the case with the shifters but the cranks are forged in 600, hollow in 800.
The main selling point is lighter cranks by about 100 grams and servowave and some more adjustment in the 800, lighter as well.
Still saying that is rebranded 105/ultegra with sub compact cranks, but the Di2 stuff looks like it packs some new tech
800 is about 105, 600 is more like tiagra if that makes sense
