I usually use Tesa tape which has worked for setting up several wheels tubeless now but it would work fine for tubes too.
It's cheap when you consider you get 66m in a roll. Depends whether you're likely to need to do wheels in the future I suppose.

It's not very stretchy or indeed very sticky but once you get a full circumference on, it sticks to itself ok.Edit: in fact, do you just want to try some of my roll? I'm in Putney

I have a rim that is puncturing all my inner tubes, so i think its time to get rim tape. Is there a standard 700c size rim tape? Im running 25x700s
Before someone says i shouldve had from the start, i bought a fancy non tape requiring rims (this may be a falicy as it was a looooooong time ago) but ive never needed them until now on these rims. I think there is a spur somewhere now (age).
