The post that bruce linked to up there ^, on the Epic Fail thread, implies that the FBI have been able to put together a broad no-fly list for capitol riot attendees, using the data hacked from Parler.

Hope this doesn't risk cases against them collapsing. Using hacked data to detain them etc sounds dodgy legally.

Is it dodgy if the FBI etc didn't perform the hack? Doesn't it just become information that is available?

Unlikely. There is enough information on regular social media to put names to faces.
