SÖDERHAMN imo (with legs swapped out), or hay hackney for the adults' room

Getting a Hay Hackney darling...

Mate of mine got one of these as is so-far pretty happy with it

Rolf Benz. I love our sofa, best bit of furniture we’ve ever bought
-
• #41431
We got this too, mainly because the first sofa we ordered wouldn’t fit through our living room door.

The swyft one? How you finding it?

And for the legs?

what’s the forum approved sofa?
Dunno, but I’ve really enjoyed the Bo. Concept Osaka we’ve had for the last four years. Nice, not too pricey and loads of fabric / colour options.

It looks nice and pretty comfortable. I find it hard to relax knowing that it’s all slotted in though rather than screwed/bolted. We need cushions for it too.

Solid and similar choices, thanks all. Habitat do one of a similar ilk and I get a hefty discount there through work so may go down that route.

We have a customised Sofa workshop Lady May. Although the price was well into golf club territory it’s the most comfy sofa I’ve ever sat on and appears to genuinely be ‘for life’.

hay hackney
Just googled. This is a 3 grand sofa. Is that a normal amount to spend on a sofa? Seems very pricey

is for the filthy rich in the bad and hated london
I've got a SÖDERHAMN (and will put the balance for the hay hackney in my pension pot) : )

Can’t wait to get a new sofa. We’ve had an old danish one for years which is so low slung I’m sure it’s fucked my back up. Waiting for floor sanding before we get a proper new one

I’ve got a shop and sell HAY so will get at cost -ish

Yeah, it’s for the £40k Kitchen Club.

We have a large Sintra in Green Velvet, would love that Phileas armchair and foot stool if I could fit it in as well.

Cost per sit is the metric to care about ;)
-
• #41447
And I’d say given the 1-2k sofas you can get the Hay ones do seem better even for that 3k and also a Hackney starts at less than 3k anyway I think.
-
• #41448
We've got a Nockeby which I'd rate.
The ends of the armrests make great scratching posts for cats too.

And obviously that's the only reason I haven't got a £3k sofa.

I bought a West Elm sofa at a third of original price two years ago in the tottenham court road store and I have to say I love it. I know they are usually overpriced but really can't fault quality on this one, held up super well.
I’m missing that this dry January.
On a different note, what’s the forum approved sofa? Mines just bust.
