Whose trying to be clever?
I’m talking about the game that I saw. The colts could have made it closer, but their inability to make third downs doomed them.
The bills were able to make big plays and and grab chunks of yardage all game thru Josh Allen scrambling and finding receivers, who made some big catches. They were up 24-10, before the colts came back into the game. If it had gone to overtime, I’d have put my money on the bills to win it.
Anywhoo I’ve got no skin in this game, apart from hoping the bills do well after almost 30 yrs of not doing well.

But, they didn't score, Allen was flushed out the pocket, held the ball to extend the play and got sacked.
I don't think you're being as clever as you think you are when you say 'if events in the game had happened differently, the outcome of the game would have been different'.
