  • 6k for two bathrooms. 6k for the kitchen. leaves 3k for the painting, floors, any other bits and bobs. would be tight but seems doable

  • I dunno... The description suggests they had to structurally alter multiple doorways and remove walls. And the sash windows look good, probably a few k of refurb cost in those if the flat was indeed in poor condition when they bought. Kitchen floor looks new also. Presumably electrical works cost the best part of £1k, based on my own kitchen recently.

    If they've actually done it all at that price I'd be seriously impressed, and jealous! But at the very least they must have omitted architect's and structural engineers fees, warrant feez possible planning application fee ...

  • oh yeah, I'm assuming they didn't do any rewiring, structural works, boiler, buy any new furniture etc. as soon as you start doing that, you're going to go north of 15k quickly unless you're doing your own plumbing and joinery... here's the dezeen article
