We had our survey done yesterday, nothing worrying, but the surveyor said while there's no issue with water pressure at the bottom of the house the shower in the ensuite at the top seemed on the weak side, so I suspect we'll have the same issue.
If you've not ordered your tiles yet I definitely agree with spending less. The architect who filled in for our architect when he went on holiday (then went to work for him) had his fancy place in Edinburgh featured in Dezeen recently. They did the whole place on a budget of £20k but ended up spending 15 and it looks great, and they used tiles that cost 38p each (£19 per square metre) in the kitchen.

Ohhhh are they the ones that used an IKEA kitchen and just replaced the handles? I’m all in for spending less but honestly struggling to find any square pale pink tiles anywhere else but claybrooke. Topps appear incapable of sending a sample.

A fatter pipe won't help much with water pressure (unless your feed is massively obstructed), it will help with flow. If you have low pressure there aren't many nice options - header tank and pump is I think basically it.

Got a couple of plumbers coming out today, will let ya know how it goes.
Maybe I should have waited on the bathroom refurb so we could have debated them for months. I just pulled the trigger on all the taps and sanitary wear because I have been procrastinating too much.
Toying with saving some money and using tiles from tops tiles rather than Claybrook, worried about over spending on what is essentially a small cheap (for The London) victorian terrace house.
