Finally cut the steerer on my Steel. Sized up by two from the one I had before, this one actually fits. Rides nice, now has basket reinstalled.

Thought here would be the best place to ask: Looking for some advice on sizing for the Cinelli Mash Work. I'm about 5'7" and currently ride a 52cm square Bob Jackson Vigorelli, I'm wondering if small or medium would better fit me? From looking at the charts medium makes more sense but I've also seen that small is recommended for my height?
If anyone can give some insight on what they use that would be really useful!
And also if anyone is selling a medium or small Cinelli Mash work, do send me a message.. -

Not sure how much help this will be to you but I'm 6'1" and ride a large (56cm) cinelli mash work.

also might not be much help but, I'm 5,11 and ride a large (56) I would say they come up small, I would say size up if your between sizes.

Just over 5’7” here, I owned the S size Work frame, one of the 2nd gen if I remember right. Fit me great, had a decent amount of seatpost showing.
My guess is M would be too big unless you’re all legs.

They are pretty long and low - the L (56) has a 52cm seatube C-C and a 55.5TT so bear in mind reach when choosing size.

Cheers everyone, I does sound like medium would be a bit big. And thanks @mattspare for the picture, that really does help a lot.

Now that's cool. I'd really love to get my hands on an XL one day.

This may not be helpful but I normally ride a 56cm (Im 6ft 1) and I ended up going with the XL size (supposedly 58cm) and it fits fine even with a decent amount of seat post.

I love this. Brakeless with a dynamo is my all time favourite combo.

I found the same thing, I’m only 5,11 and on a large, with loads of seat post showing. I guess to a degree it depends how you want to ride the bike. I like to have an almost full extension of the legs at the bottom of the pedal stroke, but equally I’ve still got a 110 stem and zero spacers.
If I compare that to my 56 steamroller which has about 3 cm long seat tube you wouldn’t believe there supposed to be the same size bike.

Shouldn't you have an almost full extension of the leg whatever riding you are doing? Obviously apart from anything off road where you want the seat lower.

Anyone going to go get the Mash AC-2 in Jan? looks like the raw alu finish could be great! How much do these normally go for?
