Adding flat mount to frame

  • Sorted.

  • Ok no longer sorted as I p*ssed around for too long and Stayer now busy well into next year.

Who can I go to for retrofit flat mount, and a few more straightforward things like bridges, M5 bosses etc?

  • Yes I could do it but I'd rather not take on extra bits at the moment. I have a few things to get through first

  • Im not in any massive rush if that helps?

  • I'd rather not promise anything, it just gives me stress :)

  • Winston Vaz.

  • have had him do things before but he really dislikes making additional holes in tubes

  • Ah, I didn’t know that’s required, only have ISOs on a bike.

  • Did you resolve this? If not, I’d suggest speaking to Kevin Winter; as an engineer, he’s well qualified to work through any potential problems such as putting additional holes in tubes. If it’s possible, he’ll be able to do it. Probably a 6+ month wait though.

  • Yes, one of the forums torch wielders has kindly agreed to take it on.

  • I’d be interested to see the results...

  • Here you go.

I’m looking forward to seeing it built up.

  • That looks incredibly neat.

  • Thanks. Was an interesting one to do. Was worried about taking such a big notch out the stay.

  • Very nice work, congrats!
@lmananimal pls treat us to a picture when build up

  • Quite a lot of things to do still as only good for blasting it around London at the moment. Not an entirely bad thing as not much else to do...

Dynamo wheelset coming later this month + need to find a P2 with longer steerer so I can use a proper stem.

Fatter tyres, guards, rack, thumbies, maybe a dropper, paint etc.

  • That is great already. I was thinking of a disc conversion of my Raleigh special products devision but didn't wanna spoil the slim lines with post mount.

This looks like a perfect solution
