Integration of structural engineer’s design so you don’t end up with unexpected ugly structure that could be avoided.
A package of 1:50 (or 1:25) general arrangement drawings plans and section/s detailing structure as well as construction buildups and any other building regs issues like sub floor venting etc.
Thats broadly enough for a building regs submission. 1:5 details of key junctions are also useful.

Finally got planning permission through for our kitchen extension- it’s pretty modest. Small extension, raising a floor to be same height as main kitchen and apex roof rather than sloped, removing some plumbing and putting in some patio doors.
This is the first time I’ve undertaken A structural build job at a house. I’ve got three firms looking at architectural drawings and expecting quotes over the next few weeks.
What kind of thing should I look out for when quotes come in or even discussing before they quote and then what kind of things do I need to make sure of when quotes do come in?
