nah, single sided on road bike ftw! Lightest SPD shimano has ever made.

I second this, cracking pedals for road SPD. Didn't know they came in a full silver finish, looks way better than mine which are a little scratched up with metal cleats now.

Also, top inspiration this thread! Looking forward to seeing the full completed bike.
