the difference is that parler exists in a vacuum of right wing chuddery, and as such, is devoid of any opportunities to "pwn teh libz" - a core motivation for nearly all of these fuckwits. it's not long for this world.

The fact that Parler exists means that even if Facebook and Twitter cleaned up thier act there are still places people can go to spew vile hate.
Parler have been ramping up their moderation and censorship in recent weeks. They are not exempt from the same legal jeopardy as Twitter and Facebook etc deespite what many people say.
