Externally routed they're great! I had them with a full outer on a croix De fer and they never skipped a beat.

correct assessment of the situation.
HY/RD s are nice, but dead heavy. Juin tech keep your bike at least as light as full hydro -

Adding these cable sleeves make a huge difference, especially to the rear as the cable angle is negative. Creates an almost sealed line.

Ah interesting. Tbh, I got them about 8 years ago and never looked at anything else. If I ever need cable again I'll look at juintech
-

My juintechs barely slow me down let alone stop. I’m sure that’s just 0 maintenance and poor set up though.
They were great 6 months ago however. Didn’t have such a drop off of performance with Spyres with no maintenance for 18 months though -

Yeah something like that but they're quite a lot wound in. Perhaps whatever small amount of fluid is in them needs a bleed
-
• #13634
If they’re wound in all the way and the pads are not worn out, then I can’t help. Not had that issue before.

You know 25c tyres will be a squeeze?
-
• #13637
Carbon innit - I'm sure even 21s would be fine

I have a theory you can tell the value of something on eBay by the price the vendor chooses for shipping. It works in this case
-
• #13639
Ugghhh no don't do it.
Tiny tire clearance and the OG supersix was a bit of a flop - it's full carbon at a point where the SystemSix and CAAD9 were better frames...

Maybe if he pays you the £300 it would be a good deal?
-
• #13641
Nice. Seems a good price to me. Regardless of what others are saying regarding tyre clearance I think they ride really nicely. I had 25 Corsa’s on mine with a bit of room to play with. Ride quality and feedback on the road was better than any Caad I had (and that’s a few!)

great ride!
-
• #13643
Yeah I think the price is fair with all the bits that are included. If the frame is in decent condition
-
• #13644
And none of the bundled bits are counterfeit

Fairly sure this is the ugliest bike I've ever owned but it rides so, so well.

Is it that ugly?
There's far far worse out there

I can remember how appalled I was when I first saw a topstone. 650b just adds to it.

All the dropped seat stays remind me of this

thats very flattering.
i doubt the topstone will live to become a design icon such as grcic's stool
I just found that it would work until even the tiniest bit of crap got into the cable then it wouldn't return properly. Too much bend at the BB.
Hydro Etap was the best purchase
