May have changed, but when I wanted to do this Tado didn't support electric underfloor.

They do, however, have a connection for a hot water relay, immersion heater I guess. It's got a relatively low amp rating but if your heating mat is less than the rating it'll be fine. I have a flex going from the control thing to a spur outside the bathroom, that goes to thermostat on the bathroom wall, then down to heating mat. You need a thermostat in the loop so it doesn't just melt after being permanently on.

Well into telling google to turn the bathroom floor on in prep for a shower when I come back from a cold ride.

Just realised I haven't gotten around to changing the barrel in the night latch so want to do that pronto as we obviously have no idea who has keys. The back doors, I know enough about euro cylinders so can work that out myself. What's a good go to for a smooth operating nightlatch cylinder, preferably with 3 keys. Whole front door will probably be refurbished at some point and we'll look at upgrading all the hardware then. For now, just need to change the lock/keys.

Which will be useful on the Atlantic Coast!

Pffft, it's on a sheltered bay and not even exposed to the proper Atlantic. It's nothing by Irish standards. :)

Just did some reading, Tado doesn't support over 3w leecy floors, which is 3 sqm and above. My bathroom is 3.2 of floor so may just be doable.

Your set up sounds over may head though!

Company were pretty good. They said money off (10%), replacement or send out Samsung for repair. I said that latter as it seems less wasteful and we had to take the front door off to get the thing in. Samsung immediately get on the case and give the job to their approved service engineers who immediately cancel the job because of Covid. F M L

And I also ordered a cooker hood that won't fit in the low ceiling space I have available. Whilst finding this out, I bent two of the air filter panels so can't honestly return it.

Can you order a new panel for cheaps?

Had a look at that already. There are 3 grease filters, 2 have a kink in them (i did it). They're £79 each.

Not that it will help but we put in a service request for our cooker hood motor in April. It was finally fixed a week before Christmas....

Obvs just bend it back if you can, I wouldn't lose sleep over it, morally. Better than it going to a warehouse full of "seconds" like your fridge ;)

That’s what made us want to live here. My wife is from Ballina and when we moved home we found a rental house here to tide us over til a house came up for sale.

It’s annoying as it’s one of those desirable rural seaside towns do houses don’t come up that often, and when they do there’s a lot of interest. We had to go right to our max possible bid and thankfully that clinched it.

Brother's wife's family are from Westport just down the way. Been over a few times and used to holiday up in Donegal as a kid. Love the West coast. It can be bleak, but in a beautiful way.

Ours just have their own timer/thermostat to run independently. Set and forget. You don't need it as part of the rest of the heating really.

used to holiday up in Donegal as a kid.

Used to go to grandparents in Killybegs as a kid - Christ that was depressing.

On Christmas Eve we got a parking ticket for parking at the front of our house. There is a double yellow in front of the property and then our drive/front garden. We disputed this showing the land registry has the boundary of our property right up to the road but the council have come back saying it is a public highway. Any ideas?

Send them a poo in the post. Pay the fine.

Get them in to take it away and give you a replacement. White goods repairs are always a joke. You don’t know what else was damaged when it got that knock. But they’ll only fix the obvious.
