  • Underfloor heating - one room (bathroom), Homekit enabled, any ideas? Can I just get as leecy one and link it to a tado somehow?

  • May have changed, but when I wanted to do this Tado didn't support electric underfloor.

They do, however, have a connection for a hot water relay, immersion heater I guess. It's got a relatively low amp rating but if your heating mat is less than the rating it'll be fine. I have a flex going from the control thing to a spur outside the bathroom, that goes to thermostat on the bathroom wall, then down to heating mat. You need a thermostat in the loop so it doesn't just melt after being permanently on.

Well into telling google to turn the bathroom floor on in prep for a shower when I come back from a cold ride.

  • Ours just have their own timer/thermostat to run independently. Set and forget. You don't need it as part of the rest of the heating really.
