Definitely go by actual measurements not sizes, I couldn't believe it and ordered two different sizes to be sure.
I'm usually a small/medium but the large worked for me. -

Just trying out some boot socks from Peregrine, anyone have experience with these?

Check the sizes, all accessory picks seem to get dumped back into the ladies section. -

Oh they look really nice actually! Just ordered a few pairs. Thanks for the tip.

To be honest watch the videos on measuring a current garment that fits and then compare that with their size charts.
No need to go to them.

in the ever continuing search for reasonably priced nice oxford button downs I bought an ll bean one recently from eBay that's lovely and it seems new they're under £50, with a decent collar and optional sleeve lengths

My stormy Kromer vest arrived yesterday, weirdly MIUSA but from imported materials.
-

Not that unusual really. YKK zippers, buttons etc all count as 'imported.' Their website says MiUSA from US and globally sourced materials on all of their vests.

Very pleased to Puck up an nice condition

Very good, what was the lining again, llama or something?
-
• #3689
Some of the earlier ones have alpaca lining this is prob from the 80s so has a synthetic version but still toasty
-
• #3690
Yeah, A-2 deck's are so underrated. Modern-ish fit is much more appropriate for today's trouser rise too. The reason I've never bought an N-1 is because they're just too short.
-
• #3691
Some of the prices on line for them is quite high seen 80s ones at £150 + great jkts

Seeing the earlier Pendleton talk, I don’t think I’ve ever spent more then $7 us on a Pendleton.

I bought a rather beautiful vintage army jacket recently, but the sleeves are a little too short. there's not much fabric to turn down in the cuff nor in the shoulder. What options do I have for extending the sleeves? Obviously finding the same cloth might be hard. It's in an army green, would adding a contrasting (perhaps blue) cloth be trashy? Has anyone seen this sort of thing done nicely?

Hang Up vintage on Cheshire St might be able to help.

These guys have done the exact same job for me over the years, suits and a coat, they were very good. The old guy who owned the business sadly died but his family kept it going

Who make that? I’d go for the black version as i have a westerley cardigan in similar colours to the lighter one

I tend to go for darker colours.

Ace, thanks!
For socks I usually go with Finisterre, they last ages and are good value for money. The perishing underwear I get from H&M needs upgrading though.
