In and around Winona, Texas:
1. Man suspected of involvement in shooting incident (possibly armed robbery) crashes car during high speed chase.
2. Suspect escapes into woods, evading police.
3. Suspect hides in church.
4. Pastor arrives at church, finds suspect hiding.
5. Pastor pulls gun on suspect.
6. Suspect takes gun from pastor, shoots him dead.
7. Suspect steals car from church parking lot.
8. Another high speed chase.
9. Suspect arrested.

At that point, law enforcement asked Onstar to shut the GMC’s engine down,,and it came to a stop.

Remotely shut the engine down to stop the car chase.

It's the future.
I've a vague recollection of someone recently being convicted of a crossbow murder at a remote Bangor location, based on evidence provided by his car regularly 'phoning home'.
Giving details of when the car was being driven, doors/boot opened etc.
The machines are amongst us.
