Looking for a garmin / wahoo heart rate monitor

I've got a Garmin HRM-Run Heart Rate Monitor if that's of interest? Still got the original box and paperwork etc.

From what I understand, the additional features of the ‘Run’ model are only realised with a Garmin watch or device, unlike the Tickr X for example which will work with an iPhone also. I’d be interested if that isn’t the case and I could use it for running, stand-alone, as well as cycling with a head unit.

Hope that makes sense; in the most basic of uses I need an HRM that can replace my Tickr for use on the bike with an element Bolt head unit. (Tickr has died / Tickr strap has died) or alternatively a strap that can work with the Tickr unit.

If there’s a strap that has the additional running features and stand alone memory of some of the higher level units like the Tickr X then by all means I’m interested, but I don’t use any Garmin devices, only a Bolt and an iPhone.

I'm not certain but I think you're right. You'd need a Garmin watch or something capable of receiving all the useful RUN info, but I think this HRM does connect to the Bolt. Good luck with the search.
