If a wheelset, is that with the default quick build hub and spoke options?
-

I found the bibs I bought (some cargo ones) to be a very poor fit so they weren't used (pad was ok). Jersey I really like and it's been put through the wash lots BUT the material isn't particularly nice.

Thank you!!
Whooof their bikes certainly look nice and expensive! -
• #8782
Yes beautiful but like you said expensive. They do also organise (or at least used to) short early morning rides during the week in Beijing as well as amazing day rides up into the mountains surrounding Beijing close to the Great Wall on the weekend. I lived in Beijing from 2009-2013 so if you want to ask any questions/advice feel free to DM.

Looks like they don't sell DT 350s anymore in the global warehouse, so will stick with the just the rims. Updated...

Would like to join, but someone would need to send the rims to me in Belgium. Wonder if it would be worth it in the end?
-
• #8785
Given the post-Brexit postage costs and import fees, I'd wager that unfortunately it wouldn't be worth it and it would probably cost you more in the end.

I contacted LB and got a quote for the above order, plus some rims for @pjhobs. I've added the costings to the attached excel. Note that LB doesn't offer TPD delivery to the UK anymore so we'd be subject to customs charges on top when the rims arrive. The GBP conversion is just based on the current exchange rate in Google so may fluctuate a bit. I worked out the split of the shipping costs ($387) based on the percentage value of everyone's rims as that seems the fairest way to do it...
Also @kentikins I assume you mean AR45 not 46 as the 45 is the Falcon Pro model.

I guess good to get it done in the next few weeks so that it gets placed before Chinese New Year

I might also be getting in on this, tbc soon. Question: for braking surface on the rims is it worth $60 to upgrade a set to the grooved graphene surface? I am unlikely to ride these in the wet (have a disc bike for that) so I'm thinking dry miles, no racing, not many mountains round here... Unnecessary or a no-brainer?

Yes

Could you confirm the quote for my rims is this spec? One 20h, one 24h.

It isn't currently no, I will get it changed and updated. It was down as a disc rim.
-
• #8794
Alright, I'll go with the fancy graphene brake surface. Just to be clear, will prices be the same as the website and we split postage? This is what I'll be getting:

OOI, why R45 over AR46? I’ll be running 25 or 28c tyres.
-
• #8797
Thanks very much!

Clearance. Intended for an older frame, possibly MGOF. GP5000 in 25 should = c. 26mm and I can then see if there's the possibility of fitting 28s. But I'm worried that the ARs won't fit the frame and could make calliper choice tricky...

Tempted by this... Thoughts on the R65 for a track wheelset? They'd be for velodrome use only so no need for a brake track, guess the disc version would make sense?

Why not 88?
