Wolfenstein, but only the new colossus, the successor sucks. And sniper elite 4 is highly recommendable if you're into commandos, stealty strategic games. Finished it in 4 days though, but I'm giving it another shot on a custom difficulty.

There is a new genre of Youtube videos just making fun of how shit Cyberpunk 2077 is. I think they have years of material.

Turned on the ps4 for the first time in about 6 months and saw that my ps plus had expired so decided to get ps now instead. Started playing fallout 3 (never played any before) I have no idea what I'm doing and pretty useless but I'm really enjoying it. Also impressed by how well streaming all the games works had zero issues can't tell the difference tbh.

I've just learnt that a couple of actors who play some characters of AC Valhalla are friends of my gf in Canada.
I am shook.
Goneril / Tekla and Octavian/ Brendan of Clonfert
That's my claim to fame.
Now I'm tempted to play it just to find them.
Looking a IMDB also watchdogs...

Picked up Control + all DLC in a recent Steam sale. The story is great but the mental shift in both combat controls, style and perspective has made for some very tough early going. A bit disappointed the inventors of bullet time and Max Payne came up with something so shonky TBH.

Aye. Done those.
More Nintendo platform tbf.
That said I haven't tuched them fo years.

Mental shift?
What you having problems with? -

I found Control's controls ok. Although I tried again recently to beat Slavador and almost lost control and smashed the controller.

Over the shoulder POV/camera.... the throw shit first approach.... terrible aim mechanics .....random enemy spawns after room entry ....ineffective melee options... mostly though the inability to track enemies - they just appear and you cannot say "I am going into a room of 5 enemies, 2 of type A and 3 of type B" because you end up having to run around too much to try and stay away from shots coming in from random directions from enemies that you cannot track.
Again it's early days but I am struggling to adjust to the mechanics. I had about 10 deaths before getting to grips with the initial mail room boss. Maybe the learning curve gets better but I really hope it gets better than this because the story is great and draws a lot, stylistically, from a couple of novelists I really enjoy.

The general grunts get easier, run and throw then shoot to mop up, or pop in and out of cover doing the same for a bit then leg it to new cover. Bosses are all difficult. Get your guns upgraded and best mods on them and you.

Get your guns upgraded and best mods on them and you.
That reads like every fan-written Diablo strategy guide
"Just get the complete ultra-rare armor set and the ultra-unique weapon set and then just smack them with your pp and get phat lewt"

Ha, more that it makes a difference if you're not doing it, get that extra headshot damage and blast them in the face after you've thrown a chair at them.

All you have said is correct. When you get a couple more abilities, and some more mods for your weapons it becomes easier, but the spawning enemies, difficulty figuring out who you’re fighting, and where they are, doesn’t change. But being slightly overpowered makes it work.
Plus a more gung-ho attitude helps as well. Took me ages to get over the habit of looking for cover and sniping from long distance, when enemies spawn just head in throw stuff, shoot stuff, pick up health pellets, repeat..
Ps I never really invested in melee, much preferred to throw shit at enemies, which was much more effective
Has anyone tried the GTA5 mod that lets you use a turbo to ride around Los Santos?
