That Cafe they're going past on Southwark Bridge Road, used to be a public lavatory.
ETA - Ties in rather well with the KLFSS thread as Jimmy Cauty's home is just around the corner.

Old: Newington Green park. Britons largest prison used to be here.

For search purposes, this is actually Newington Gardens. Newington Green is north of the river.

The block whose back is shown here fronts onto Bath Terrace, and the main entrance to Newington Gardens is on Harper Road.

Amazingly, the memory of the prison is kept alive in Newington Gardens even today, with two large cages in which poor sinners perform demeaning physical rituals. @coventry_eagle was undoubtedly reminiscing wistfully about his own times of incarceration in this spot.

Got the new one and it's a nice link from the old one.

Hope to get it tomorrow.

I took +WillMelling advice of making it easier to spot, otherwise I would have gone for my obscure flash cards clue... ;)

Obviously I know where that row of houses is, I am in and out of them all the time, but it's possible Settle might need to give a clue for other people.
