Why people care about kickr climb so much? Is a zwift thing? I really like climbing but really, turbo is turbo and having an artifact lifting my wheel will hardly make it like the real thing.
If anything it will move my upper body out of the fan for some fresh air in the fruits.

I got the trainer today, setup the kids' bike on it. 1 hour and 45 minutes later, it won't power on anymore because one of my knobhead kids has booted the power lead and broken the socket in the trainer.

Is it the socket or the male end that’s damaged? Replacement power bricks aren’t too expensive.

Are there any exercise bikes worth buying that fall between the Argos shite and £££ Pelotons? Would like something to set up in the attic for me and the OH, so can't be bothered faffing about swopping bikes off a turbo.

The Kickr Core looks much less stable than the Kickr footprint. Have any Core owners noticed instability?

Depends on whether you want it to work with zwift, trainerroad, Sufferfest etc.

There are good quality spin bikes etc in that range, but none that I can think of that outputs power to those devices or has erg control.

Nope. Although never done anything more than seated sprints, I'm more worried about my frame than the base of the Core, it seems sturdy enough to me (76kg)

Yeah, not particularly fussed about it talking to Zwift etc; though power data in some format would obviously be good for structured training.
