• I popped some wheels and bars on it yesterady to check; the suspension feels a bit soft, and does sound a tad 'gritty' as it slides up and down, but still bounces ok, and the lock-out works. I'm not at all clued up on suspension forks, even less so Cannondale ones, so I've never taken it apart to check or clean it.

I bought it on a whim a few years ago. The RD was bent, and it was too big for me, so I've never actually ridden it to properly test it, and have since pilfered the wheels and other parts for other projects. I might have the seatpost and bars around somewhere too.

Sizewise, yes, I think it's a Large, but the geo chart I found is a bit too low-res to read clearly.

Edit: The 2004 catalogue online is just as blurry as the 2003 one, but the 2005 one is a tiny bit clearer, and the overall seat tube length of 50.5cm matches with the size 'Large'.

  • The shok is air sprung so over time it will drop pressure. Valve is under the crown.

As long as it’s reasonably smooth in travel it should be ok.
