Yes. Just need the end caps.

Can you actually just get a cold from being outside in the cold?
Yes. Just need the coldness.
-
• #106354
Technically yes, but you need to come in contact with the cold virus. You are very unlikely to catch a cold standing alone in Antarctica for instance

I've always suffered from a super runny nose after showering in colder weather.
But it feels like after a decent walk in the cold yesterday our baby has a cold. And the last few weeks I keep getting some sort of cold.

be aware also, that lots of halogen transformers can't drive LEDs steadily, and there is a strong chance you will get flickering/failing lights or need to switch the transformers. In the end we were advised it was less hassle moving forward to simply switch to a more common GU10 fitting - which with the number of lights we were replacing was more cost effective, especially once more expensive LED MR16 bulbs were factored in.

How come me and my family keep getting colds when we're not coming into contact with anyone or using public transport?
I seem to be constantly sniffling.
Same here, and I’ve never had allergies.

My similarly priced luggage scale is pretty accurate.
It does have an annoying bug where it holds the number before it's completely settled, but that's because I use it to weigh wobbly things like bikes and puppies.
(the workaround is to zero it with the item on there and then read the negative number afterwards)

• #106361
Thanks. How did you measure the accuracy? Or do you mean it was consistent?
-
• #106362
Consistent with other scales I own.
I was doing a spreadsheet-involved weight weenie bike build a few years back and the total weight matched the components weighed on my Salter digital kitchen scales.

Fantastic. Thanks

Could be an allergic reaction, have you been throwing a lot of dust up in the house or similar?

(fixed the link)

Your link didn't work for me but I think I found them - £15.99 incl postage. I cannot see any reason why you shouldn't buy them.

What are the best options for fixing/touching up these scratches on my beloved Vigorelli Alu top tube and down tube, considering covid and lockdown?

Gaffer tape.

Cheers. I have a plague island decal I could use, but I’d rather get the paint touched up or similar.

big lipsticky kiss?

Solved. Explanation being that I'm an idiot.
My RD is medium cage; I need a long cage to go up to 42t.

Welcomed, my secretary will send you the bill... ;)

Could work on the down tube as a temporary measure if I get desperate, but in any case the top tube scratch is a weird shape.

Paint looks pearlescent - touch up will look shite if you try to simply match the existing shade.
Try asking in the paint thread but if I had to fix it I’d consider adding a ring around the tube in a complimentary colour to fix the big one in the top tube.
Downtube blemish I’d ignore.
