It's super nice, I love how simple it is. Hmm I think it's maybe 34mm but I haven't measured. It has a very slight rattling noise but I assume that's the perpetual part of it.
Ok cool, I'll look into getting it serviced. It'd be peace of mind at the very least. I'm sure there's bound to be somewhere decent in Berlin. I'll ask around :)

Berlin resident here.
I bring my watches to die Uhrenmacherei on Kottbusser Damm.
3 brothers that all followed their Dad into the watchmaker business. Looks like a standard Berlin turkish jewellers but the guys always wear stuff like hulk's, sea dwellers and submariners with saudi swords it on it and always have interesting stuff in for repair.
Think their dad is Seiko guy though.
Never had them work on something expensive, but the two watches I got serviced there run very well.
Not saying to use them, but I would let them have a look and see how you feel about it.
Also that rolex is very beautiful!
@sorethroat magnificient watch, looks like a 50’s Oyster Perpetual, love the 3/6/9 dial, timeless design.. is it 36mm or 34 ?
Crisp condition for it’s age. Even if it keep good time, it worth it to give it a service. Make sure everything’s is correctly oiled, and have it pressure tested.
With new gaskets it will probably be waterproof, good enough for everyday hands wash etc, but you should avoid shower and long bath IMO
It’s important to have it serviced by a trusted independant watchmaker
