Thanks, fingers crossed and yes she’s already called the family.

Was it a PCR test?
I’m still awaiting results from Thursdays tests. -

The chat about cultural differences in SE Asia making a success of shutting down COVID should also include the apparent fucking great job Australia and most other island states were able to do just by locking their borders properly.

They do have different borders. Australia and New Zealand don't have accompanied freight for example.
But it is a mystery to me why we are still allowing people to get on an airplane for a holiday.

It was the full swab on the tonsils and up the nose test.

The state of this prick leaving the BBC this morning. You’d think after 10 months ‘leading’ our pandemic response that he’d have the slightest fucking idea how to wear a mask.

I had a test done in gloucester on Friday, still waiting for the results.

What's he doing wrong other than it being a shit mask?
Also, his post covid health kick seems to have lasted about 2 weeks. He looks huge and unwell.
-
• #19137
Hope both of you will stay with no symptoms. All the best.
-
• #19138
Wishing you both a speedy and symptom free recovery.

Am guessing it's supposed to be pulled apart in the centre, properly covering the nose. It's probably the same type as the one you can see reflected in the window, worn correctly.

inside out.

Best wishes and fingers crossed

It’s not a shit mask. It’s a shit wearer.
It’s not expanded, it’s not pinched at the nose and it does look like it’s back to front (not really an issue but still...).
It is doing nothing to protect anyone else in the car from his breath droplets.
One of the easiest things for any leader to do is lead by example. Just doing the simple things like competently wearing a mask that someone who’s 8 years old can understand.
He seems incapable of either understanding or caring enough to bother.

Lol, that’s the problem right there, BJ doesn’t think the rules apply to him.

Learnt from his dad, or the other way round

Exactly. One of the key reasons he’s completely unfit to run a branch of Argos let alone the country.
-
• #19146
Ah ha, my bad. Didn't realise it was a medical type one. Looked like some piece of crap made out of old curtain or something. He is awful in every way.

What is the chances of getting covid from someone who has had it in the past?
Maybe he thinks it’s not important because he can’t catch it again? And maybe can’t give it to others?
-
• #19148
It really doesn’t matter if he’s contagious or not; though I don’t think there’s conclusive evidence either way for people post Covid.
What matters is that people look to him for how to behave. Insane though that is.
It’s so fucking simple. Want people to respect the rules and wear a mask? Wear a fucking mask yourself.
-
• #19149
Oh I agree with you, just thinking about more about the people around him, including his driver.
-
• #19150
that people look to him for how to behave.
Hah. Hah hah
Assuming that your wife has it too,Hope you both get only mild symptoms or not at all.
I guess that family needs to be informed, tested and requested to self isolate?
