That said I'll have a closer look at the power hanger device, I might be able to turn the V shaped thing around so the cable exists on the other side...
[Morning edit] just checked and this would work, so no need for me to swap sides, only a slightly restricted access to one bolt, but the cantis having an adjustable screw that shouldn't be an issue
