Photolux - Amazon jobbie. Around £40 hopefully it'll work and more than pay for itself!

Developed a roll of hp5 @1600 tonight. Results look okay from what I can see so far...
When winding the film on however towards the end it for really tight. Is there something I've done wrong when loading the camera as these last few have unsurprisingly come out blank...

hmm is this the first film in your leica? I had a similar issue, it was the ratchet/gear mechanism issue, Aperture sorted it for £50

would anyone like pixl-latr frame and diffuser for free? I have a spare one as it had a tiny defect where the diffuser won't sit as tightly but I scanned using it, it was fine. If you want to scan anything other than 4x5, you'd need one of the gates: https://pixl-latr.com/product-category/pixl-latr-parts/

Ive never had that issue in my M6 and always got slight more exposures out a roll than expected most times too. Going by how easy Leicas are to fix hopefully it doesn't cost you a lot.

I fucked up loading two rolls on a reel (never done it before) as one of the rolls had a VERY sticky masking tape so ended up tearing the film :(
Got most images though; here are some.
Paranol S 1+50, 25 mins, HP5 shot and dev'd at 400.
Mamiya 645 Super 80mm 1.9

Second film strangely enough the first roll was fine.
I'm almost at the end of another roll and no problems so far with that either.
Hopefully it's just user error!

Those tones are gorgeous!
I can't believe the iPhone is scanning this well either! Are you just popping them on a light table and taking a macro picture?

Trying to load a 120 film onto a dev spool, and losing your mind. Name a more iconic duo!

the masking tape is the real culprit

Ha, if only. Had the whole roll off in a tangled mess in the dark bag. I foresee fingerprints...

Need to magic brush the dog out.
I think the dog makes perfect sense in the composition. It's roughly in the vertical middle and roughly in line with the roots of the middle tree. I'd leave it. I guess it depends on what you want the picture to be about, but I think it adds something.
Is there like a grid below it the top, Im sure i bought the same light pad and its got like a weird grid below the top.
