I assume you know that you can steep loose leaf more than once? Many can be steeped 3-6 times depending on style and you often won't be getting the best steep until several in. I expect to get 4 cups per 2.5g/tsp, so would be looking at 48 cups for 30g worth. You are either a thirsty pair or using way to much tea.
Get a tea cosy if you're throwing away a lot because its cold or a smaller tea pot.

You can order directly from this guy who owns a farm in Wayanad, Kerala. Does a few different teas very nice. His farm is part of the TGG Foundation and their charitable work - https://tggfct.org/

Gave my wife a bodum teapot and some loose leaf teas for her birthday. We are drinking 2-3 pots of tea a day so getting through just under 30g of tea a day.
I know from buying coffee there is a considerable difference between buying 250g bags of beans and 1kg bags of beans. Where can I buy larger bags of quality tea leaves at more affordable prices?
