Thanks, I only want to replace the chainset.
I thought I didn't need to change the front derailleur, but the thread below suggests a 1mm difference.

I guess will probably first change the chianset and see if they rub - shimano compatability seemingly cautious.
I guess the question stems from there being no compatability chart that lists compatability between the front deraeuller and rear deraulliers.
