The originals were most likely a 630 and not 635.

It's possible, but the original tyres had 635 written on them. At least the rear did, the front was too worn to read.
I could buy some 630s and see if they fit, but at this point I have bikes that need obvious, modern parts that I know will fit, which seems a better use of my time.
Classic Steel Londoner Town / cruiser project
Due to tyre sizing issues this has become a time-sink, so I'm selling to fund other builds for the Bikes For NHS Project.
Seat tube 54cm centre to top
Top tube 57cm centre to centre to centre
Quite rusty, but the steel tubes are bombproof. It's not light.
Lovely Shimano 600 2x5 speed groupset, downtube shifters
27" Rigida rims
Was in the process of installing flat bars and levers (not pictured) Can provide the new levers I was going to use for an additional £15.
Tyres not included (see below)
Original drop bars and levers included with sale. £100
Tyres shown DO NOT FIT. Original tyres had 27" / 635mm written on them, and I spent ages sourcing these, but they are too big and do not seat in the rim despite being supposedly also being 635mm. I would like back what I paid for the tyres £24
