Hello! what's the size?

A great question and one I should have answered in the original post!
I’m not sure exactly, but I would estimate at c.56cm.
As you see it in the photos it’s set up for me (I’m 6ft2/ 188cm, with 33” inside leg). Plenty of scope for shorter people, and a little for taller.
I can measure precisely after Xmas though! -

Nice bike.
I grew up racing marins of this vintage . Still got a couple .
I would bet that to be a 20 inch seat tube measured bb to top of seat tube( which was how they were sized ) , with a 23inch top tube. -

Good knowledge, like this.
I can neither confirm nor deny right now as I can’t measure, but thanks! -

Thanks! -

I’m out of the capital for the festive period but should be returning early next week - will certainly post exact measurements when I get back!

The neon is certainly something isn’t it. My favourite detail is the roller under the stem for the front brake.

Yep still available
Hi All,
Time to clear a bit of space in the garage! I built this up this summer as a pub bike but really haven’t used it much at all.
As such I’d like to shift it on. Bit of extra cash to keep me going through COVID redundancy.
Rides nicely and perfect for round town.
Frame: 1990’s Marin Palisades. Fair bit of surface rust, nothing structural, deliberately not cleaned up to make it less steal-worthy. Made it 1x by removing two chainrings (it had a crummy LH grip-shifter which I removed). So now 7 speed.
Fully stripped and cleaned inc clean and re-grease bb and headset.
Fitted:
New chainring bolts
New tyres & tubes: Schwalbe city jet tan wall 26 x 1.95
New brake pads and shoes
New brake and gear cables, inners and outers
New seat post (SystemEX)
New saddle (goku)
New cassette (decathlon)
New grips
Would like to get back what I paid for it all which was £150.
Collection Tooting Bec, but will be after Xmas now. Can possibly deliver / meet partway within London if needs be!
