What time is it? Watches and horology

I’ve taken to wearing my BB58 as an everyday beater. I’ve done the last two months of house refurbishment wearing it, and it’s turned out to be a pretty hardy little thing. It’s kinda nice committing to not being precious about it.

The bezel is the weakest point and picks up knocks and scrapes on its outer edge as you can see at the 5 and 55 markers.

I’d thought Pelagos be an excellent beater on account of the titanium, heft and it’s mark as a proper dive watch (ish).

Seiko still tickled me to this day.

I work indoor a lots so seeing it outside really look like the case and bracelet is darker than it appear online (sbp143)

Either that or it been exposed to the elements of the workshop, either way I love the darker tint.

I enjoyed it on a nato too, always looked great.

I’m tempted to get a red rubber nato one for it.

Someone got it and it work so well.

First Grand Seiko GMT i really like!

And oof, that's a killer.

Too much text of differing sizes and styles in my opinion.. the earlier one (with long GMT hand) is my preference so far...

The photos for online sales that Seiko distributed for these are uniformly terrible and convey none of the 'subtleties' of the finishing. Weird.
