Sounds like you need a sub 185g .

The Woodman I had was 90g, but too delicate.
I believe the construction has reinforced bits within its recommended clamping area, which I obviously cut down, and then clamped somewhere else!A deda superleggero / superzero / Ritchey superlogic / Bontrager XXX are the types that seem like a reasonable option.
I do have a 27.2mm - 31.6mm shim, but it weighs 28g, and my seatpost height is normally too short to impart any comfort benefits from having a thinner seatpost.

Never cut a lightweight post down.deda superleggero is a good post had one before.

But hill climb bike!
Also with this little seatpost showing, I have had issues with longer seatposts getting caught on the bottle cage bolts.
Not many 250mm length carbon seatposts about.

I recently bought an Elita One from Ali Express for £20, cut it to around 200mm and replaced the stock yolks for stronger ones (£8 also Ali). It came to 108g. Ridden it for a good couple of months and it's working great! I weigh 65kg and have full confidence in it

I've got a slightly battered EC90 zero (has carbon top assembly too). It's currently 400mm. Probably not that interesting as they're quite heavy, according to weighweenies 156g cut down to 250. Let me know if interested and I'll give it a clean.

You mean Superzero? Waiting for your response regarding the length on PM :)

Yeah, Superzero. Length is 270 to rails, 240 to bend.
Cheers,
Gav
Looking for a 31.6mm lightweight carbon seatpost for a hill climbish bike.
It is to replace a Woodman carbon seatpost that I stupidly over clamped.
Let me know what you have!
