  • It adds insulation to any jersey, while retaining the functions of the jersey. Access to pockets etc. Less faff than gilet.

    I think the Albion one is too thin for winter riding (probably great for intended summer mountain-descent purpose). Get a kids jacket from eBay and cut one out. Choose your insulation thickness. It’ll cost you about a fiver to try.

  • Unsurprisingly it was planned in Gazetta print, but never made it to production. Le Col's version, the Front Cover, launches next week. As discussed, they are great and not just for alpine descents.

  • That's a great idea. What I would really need is one with a little cup in the bottom to cover the sensitive bits. It's cold out there (-18C), Brrrr!
