    When it said USB-only charging, I assume it meant the battery was internal, non-removable.

    I don't get it, if you have a removable battery, how can this not be charged externally?

    Ok, so unlike Canon, Sony don't do external chargers I guess. It's not that it's a fixed internal battery.

    Looks like I can buy an old RX100. RX100 II going for ~£320

  • if you're patient you can find a deal - I got a Rx100 mk3 for £200 - that said I hated sony's awful colours and the autofocus was frustrating at points. Picked up a G5x mk1 instead, which has been great, no better autofocus but colours are much better and touch/flip screen at small size expense. Thinking about picking up a XF10 when somewhere has them back in stock
