Yeah it's 27 but if it's cracked at all it just bends when you put the socket on - you'll see what I mean, it'll either be easy or tremendously annoying.
My only pro tip is if it smells sweet/like curry with the heater on, it's probably the heater matrix leaking and it's worth paying 500 quid to get someone else to remove the dashboard to replace it! I'll never get that time back....
Mines been pretty trouble free, 10k miles a year, bikes and camping gear go in the back like a dream!
Ah, really? I read it's a 27mm nut on the end of the cover. Was hoping one of my imperial sockets would fit well enough, or could just use a fuck off adjustable spanner.
It's silver. Guessing that was stock. Hopefully easy to get touchup paint fit!
