Try the Aeroprecipe app on android (possibly ios too). It's based on James Hoffman's recipe dice. Recommends different grinds, bloom times, inverted/traditional.
Me inverted, 16-20g, depending on the beans generally. 30-40ml of water to bloom. About 45 seconds after some stirring/agitation. Top up and wait 90 seconds or so and go.
I’ve never really understood a bloom in an aeropress; I just fill it up and the grounds mostly sit on top kind of like a cupping, as opposed to a V60 where you want the gases and shit to do their thing before a careful pour. Shall I try a bloom?
