Here's my CDF. Changed it to drop bar 1x10. Gearing needs some work though. May go 2x10 34/46 - 32.
Does ride super nice though, very comfortable and handles like a dream. Great tool

Very nice. Love the colour.
Your guards need to be at least 10% longer to be truly functional though ;)

yeah my feet got pretty wet today!
Will be adding flaps asap!

They are curiously short aren't they.
-
• #24507
Well if you are that curious, I salvaged them from an old 1960s 27 1-1/4 wheels road bike that was scrap.
Hammered a few dents out and cleaned them up. Decent guards for zero pounds and half hour cleaning/dent removing.
Will be adding flaps tho

Nice bike
Front rack ID?
Thanks!

Thanks!
It's a Vavert Advancer rack, I think I got it from SJS Cycles at the time. Bent and butchered to fit another bike but the fork bosses being in quite a conventional location it suited the Galaxy too!Doesn't look like it's available anymore though...

Many thanks!
I like the super clean look. Much better than the nitto
Did you bend the stays so that they fit the mid-fork eyelets or was it another version of the rack
Cheers

Bent and shortened them, it was that very same model.

With that rear wheel clearance? Nothing.

Not sure you'd get anything between that seatpost and tire.
But there are these - https://velo-orange.com/collections/fenders/products/vo-fluted-63mm-fenders-700c -

What about a set of these cut short with some sort of mylar flap?
-
• #24519
Is that frames design for 650b? Clearance look waaay tight.
-
• #24520
Can anyone see your rear light there?
-
• #24521
Probably not. Light mount was shifted up so I could drop the saddle for a friend to ride.
Need to move it down again.
-
• #24522
What will fit?
..you could clip a long flap to that bag behind the saddle?
-
• #24523
29x2.3 on there now. Think it might have been 2.1 standard.
-
• #24524
You probably won’t need to cut them short if you get the short version. I have them on my inbred and looks like there would work here too.

That's the sort of info I'm looking for :)
yeah the QR rack seems like an afterthought.
