I reckon I’ve mastered coffee in a flask for bike rides - I use a moka pot, one that takes about 30g of ground coffee, 6 cup maybe? Pour that into a pre heated thermos, then top it up with freshly boiled water from the kettle. That gives just the right filter level brew strength but serving temperature is much higher without over extracting the coffee. Kept my spirits up during a mechanical break down at dawn the other day.
