• Aroogah, thanks for posting this, trying to find instructions on Blackburn's website, its interesting that all the ilustrations only show the drop out bracket. (by the way, classic bike, curve fork, downtube shifters!) Did you decide to use the QR because of your fender stays were on the dropouts, or was there another fitting issue? And 103747's solution is what I was thinking but the rack is so far out of "vertical" he must have removed the top to use it that way, your top seems roughly level. The Arms that you cut down, were they threaded on both ends? Attached a photo of a rear Blackburn on my Fat Bike, same sort of issue, my solution was not elegant but it works. Wondering if you could have run the tube (90 degree mounting arms) roughly parrellel to the fork and mounted the brakets facing in behind the fork.
    You're making me think I should buy something else. Thank you
