Having just watched Spectre, any recommendations for recent action/drama (not horror) that aren't completely devoid of intelligence, character development and suspense? I suppose A Quiet Place was the last thing I watched that kind of fit the bill.

Not recent, but rewatching Heat was probably my cinematic highlight of 2020. So that.
A classic at that never gets old.
"I told you i was never going back" Think its one of my favourite lines out a film ever.
I watched that fairly recently... might watch Collateral again though - also directed by Michael Mann. One of Tom Cruise's more interesting roles.
